Interesting News

I happened to come across this video link in MSN. Click the play button under the heading of "Americans' bad grammar costly". And people think it's not productive to be a grammar Nazi. If Fortune 500 companies are spending $3 billion dollars a year to salvage English grammar as some of us know it, then I can't help but call it an industry in itself.

But it's unbelievable how some Canadians and Americans - some of them already teenagers or even worse in some cases, adults - could not spell simple things like sugar, grammar, definitely etc or use then and than, apostrophes and possessive nouns and pronouns.

The Age of Retards has come down upon us to smite us with enough sense with the truth that we are the first ones to go.

*I'm sorry for the sporadic updates. Really busy. Uhm, I would hazard a guess though that the next Harry Potter movie will not live up to the third.

Gee, that explains things. What's new? I mean we all know that Americans suck in both speaking and writing.

And $3 billion dollars spent to save the Queen's English? Maybe I shouldn't have used that.

Personally, my grammar sucks as well, some verbal and tense inconsistencies...but I try to correct them with a little help from my friends.

Look, Americans don't know anything outside their own culture and their own country...pathetic beings.

To Mike: I did see a picture of Danile Radcliffe in the tub sans shirt..he is hot.

Well. There are and will be people who are so locked up in themselves that sometimes they don't realize what's wrong with them and when they do, it takes an awful lot of pacifying and in their part, acceptance. For instance, I actually know someone who insists that 'a lot' should be spelled as 'alot'. And she's from L.A. How far is Montreal from L.A., I would like to know? If Asians, Europeans and others could see what's wrong with 'alot'then why can't they if they own the language?

Mike,

I already saw GOF just yesterday. Seems to me that Radcliffe's hotter by exponent than Diggory. ^_^ Don't you agree?

Oh, Daniel Radcliffe is hotter by a dozen quotient than Diggory.:D But do you like Katie Leung? I think she's hot in her own way.:D Bet, I've got a hilarious Suzie article about 'The Exorcism of Emily Rose'. I'm trying to type it and I'll notify you when I post it. Hehehe.

To Celestial Maiden: I couldn't bear watching him, skin glistening wet like that. Oh, wonderland. :D

Hello... I'm kind of new here...

I saw some of your so-called "flame wars" on Fanfiction.net... They're from a little while ago, but really, curiosity got the better of me and I wondered what some of it meant.

Perhaps I should just butt out of your business?

I was a tad confused and unnerved by the way you seemed to take other people's works and criticize them, then post them up on this. I don't mean any offense, really, and this is just friendly advice-- perhaps a you could have a more passive eye when it comes to reading. You hurt people with your blatant lack of tact.

*hands up* Just a proposition. You have no need to listen to me.

Bet, where on Mars are you. I found a writer with an attitude and I criticized her.
